Fox. So Edgy So Fresh So 10 Years Ago

Fox should rebrand themselves the reboot network. 24, which premiered in 2001, came back as the twelve episode limited event, Live Another Day in 2014. The X-files, which premiered in 1993, will return in 2016 with a 6 episode limited run series. Prison Break, 2005 premier, has been announced as doing the same despite, spoiler warning, the lead character being killed in the series finale.  Can Fox claim they are fresh with this many “limited events”? Are they afraid to try something new amid declining ratings for the big 4 networks? Sure, FOX had Empire last season, and it’s their biggest hit in a while, but it still can’t make up for the fact that 5 of their new shows were cancelled due to low ratings last season. So it’s come to this, a FOX lineup of old shows.

What are some other shows that Fox should reboot? I’ve got a top three list for them below.

3. That 80’s Show, which aired in 2002,  but set in the future, so it’d be That 90’s Show. This reboot could deal with the trials and tribulations of growing up white and in the 90’s. But they smoke a lot of pot so it’s funny.

2. Back to You starring Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton which ran from 2007-2008 for one season. In the show, Grammer and Heaton are former partners in life and news who are forced together after a 10 year separation. This time we could see where they are 10 years after that. And the hilarity of watching people bicker while trying to read the news, and live life one assumes.

1. Wonderfalls which aired in 2004. This was a quirky show in the vein of Pushing Daisies that saw a sales clerk talking to inanimate figures, and helping people based upon their commands. I’d just like to see this return because it’s a really fun premise, and show.

Which shows would you like to see FOX reboot?
