DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

As far as comic book shows go, I’m pretty interested in this one. It’s a companion show to Arrow and Flash, and as you can see from the above trailer, they do a really good job of setting the show up and how it fits into the universe that DC and The CW have created. They are really presenting a strong comic book narrative on their network, and Greg Berlanti is Executive Producer, the same title he holds for Arrow and Flash, and the CBS show Supergirl, so it should have the same tone and style that fans enjoy. Flash and Arrow are The CW’s #1 and #2 show respectively. The show premiers January 21, 2016 and will fill the gap left by Arrow and Flash when they are on their winter breaks.

I’m really glad that Caity Lotz is back in the DC family as Sara Lance. She was the best actress on Arrow when it came to the fighting action, and she’s going to be great on this show as White Canary.

I’m also excited to see Dr. Who’s Arthur Darvill on the show as Rip Hunter. The show feels a bit like Dr. Who meets DC. The costumes on this show should be ridiculously good, because they get to go to so many different time periods.

The trailer sets up the season 1 arc really well, and it should be a fun ride for a few months to see how these heroes and villains interact for the common goal.

What are your thoughts on the show? Are you excited? Do you still watch Arrow and Flash? What about Supergirl? Let me know in the comments!
